The President of the Georgian Bar Association, Davit Asatiani, met with members of the upper house of the Romanian Parliament – the Senate, and the Chairman of the Romanian Bar Association.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of the Legal Profession and the necessity of its ratification by the member states of the Council of Europe.

The discussion also touched upon future cooperation between the legal professions of Georgia and Romania.
