General Assembly

General Assembly is a supreme body of the Georgian Bar Association. The General Assembly is held at least once a year. The General Assembly of the Georgian Bar Association makes a decision by a simple majority of the members present.
General Assembly:
► Approves the Charter of the Association and make changes and amendments thereto;
► Elects and dismisses the Chairperson of the Association, the Executive Board, the Ethics Commission and the Audit Commission in accordance to the rules prescribed by the Charter of the Association;
► Adopts the Code of Ethics of Lawyers and the Rules on "Disciplinary Liabilities and Disciplinary Proceedings of Lawyers";
► Hears reports from the Executive Board, the Ethics Commission and the Audit Commission Chairmen regarding the work conducted;
► Sets a fixed amount of membership fee.
