The system and procedures for the evaluation of candidates for judges of the Supreme Court of Georgia were discussed at a conference organized by the Bar Association.

At the conference, the Bar Association presented the methodology for the evaluation of candidates for the judiciary of the Supreme Court, on the basis of which the evaluation of candidates for the judiciary and the development of the relevant conclusion was carried out.

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, the Public Defender's Office, non-governmental organizations, representatives of the Supreme Court, members of the Bar Association and donor international organizations.

The conference was supported by the United States Agency for International Development.
