Reform for human-centered justice

The Georgian Bar Association organized a conference on justice reform at the Tbilisi Marriott. The conference was attended by representatives of the justice system, the legal profession and the diplomatic corps, as well as international partners.

At the meeting, the Bar Association unveiled a plan for justice reform: "People-Centered Justice," based on best practices from the United States and Europe. The action plan is based on many years of experience in the legal profession and focuses on establishing a credible, transparent and quality justice system. The Judicial Reform Plan sets out a vision for the legal profession to develop legislative and judicial practice.

The conference was supported by the Council of Europe and USAID.
