On March 23, 2021, the Georgian Bar Association presented a disciplinary proceedings portal added to the attorneys’ web platform launched in 2020 as part of the Association’s digital transformation agenda. The presentation, delivered by the Association’s Executive Director, Giorgi Tshekhani, brought together practicing attorneys, representatives of civil society organizations, public institutions, and international partners.

The newly introduced disciplinary proceedings portal was developed to modernize and streamline the work of the Bar Association’s Ethics Commission and to ensure more effective, transparent, and accessible disciplinary proceedings.

The integration of the disciplinary proceedings portal into the attorneys’ web platform represents a major step in strengthening procedural efficiency, safeguarding due process, and enhancing trust in the disciplinary system.
