Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the Georgian Bar Association and the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Within the framework of the Chairman’s visit to Azerbaijan, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Georgian Bar Association and the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, and the Chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Bagirov.

The Memorandum provides for cooperation between the two institutions. The agreement includes the exchange of professional experience, sharing of legal acts related to the legal profession and professional standards, as well as the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and working meetings.

As part of the visit, the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association delivered a public lecture at ADA University (Azerbaijan’s English-language diplomatic academy). Irakli Kandashvili spoke about the legal profession and its role in the development of reliable and high-quality justice.
