By the decision of the Executive Committee of the International Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation  signed on September 16, the Georgian Chapter of the NYSBA was officially established.

GBA President David Asatiani was approved as a Chair of the Chapter and GBA Executive Director Giorgi Tshekhani as a Co-Chair.

Within the Georgian Chapter, meetings, conferences, seminars, trainings and other events will be organized with the involvement of the New York Bar Association, which will give Georgian lawyers the opportunity to learn about American practice, experience and establish close professional relations with American colleagues.
