According to the decision of the Steering Committee of the Legal Professions Union, LAWASIA, the Georgian Bar Association became a full member of the organization. 

LAWASIA is a highly regarded regional organization that brings together more than 40 bar associations, judges, and other legal professionals across Asia to help strengthen the profession and establish the rule of law.
As a result of joining the Georgian Bar Association LAWASIA, Georgian lawyers will have the opportunity to participate in various events, seminars and conferences. Several joint events have already been planned between the organizations.
