The Georgian Bar Association was paid a courtesy visit by the Ambassador of Romania to Georgia, Mr. Razvan Rotundu.

During the working meeting, Ambassador Rotundu congratulated lawyer Irakli Kandashvili on his election as Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, following the high level of trust expressed by Georgian lawyers, and wished him success in his responsible role.

The Ambassador emphasized the important role of the legal profession in ensuring a credible and effective justice system and noted that his previous close cooperation with the newly elected Chairman, in his capacity as Chairman of the Mediators Association, would significantly contribute to further strengthening cooperation between the legal professions of Georgia and Romania.

Irakli Kandashvili thanked the Ambassador of Romania for the visit and the appreciation shown, and underscored the importance of cooperation between the legal professions of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to deepening cooperation and agreed to plan joint initiatives in the future.
