The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association met with the members of the Association’s football team and the head coach, Tengiz Sulakvelidze. The team members congratulated Irakli Kandashvili on his election as Chairman and wished him success in his future work.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the team’s current and upcoming activities, including participation in international and local championships. Among these is the Association team’s participation in the World Football Cup for Lawyers (Mundiavocat), which will be held on May 9–17 in Benidorm, Spain. It is worth noting that last year the Georgian Bar Association team won third place in this championship.

Irakli Kandashvili expressed the Association’s readiness to become even more actively involved in strengthening the team and wished the members success and victory.

At present, the Georgian Bar Association football team is participating in the Business League for the first time and, as is tradition, will join the Masters League championship in the spring.
