An introductory meeting was held between the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, and the Representative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Georgia, Ekaterine Karchkhadze.
The parties discussed new potential areas of cooperation between the Georgian Bar Association and the International Labour Organization, particularly educational programs aimed at developing training opportunities for lawyers in the field of labour law and supporting their professional development.
During the meeting, Irakli Kandashvili emphasized the importance of cooperation with international partners in the development process of the Georgian Bar Association, especially in terms of strengthening professional standards and expanding educational opportunities.
Ekaterine Karchkhadze expressed the ILO’s readiness to actively support the Association’s institutional development and to maintain close cooperation.
