The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, together with representatives of the Association’s administration, met with representatives of the UN Women programme.
During the meeting, the Chairman provided the guests with a detailed overview of the Association’s activities, its institutional role, current priorities, and future plans aimed at strengthening professional standards and ensuring the protection of attorneys’ rights.
The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation between the Georgian Bar Association and the UN Women programme, including professional development, the promotion of gender equality, and improving access to justice.
Representatives of UN Women expressed their readiness to actively support the Association’s institutional strengthening and to engage in close cooperation through the implementation of joint initiatives and programmes.
