The Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association, Irakli Kandashvili, met with the new Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia, William Massolin. Irakli Kandashvili congratulated William Massolin on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the projects implemented and results achieved within the framework of the longstanding cooperation between the Georgian Bar Association and the Council of Europe Office. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the areas of lawyers’ professional development, human rights protection, the rule of law, and strengthening the professional rights of lawyers.

The parties expressed their readiness to continue working on further strengthening cooperation and implementing new initiatives.
