The Georgian Bar Association continues to offer additional educational programs to lawyers as part of its cooperation with American partners.

To this end, with the support of the U.S. Department of State’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and with the involvement of the Georgian International Arbitration Centre, a training course for lawyers on “Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for Practitioners” will be held at the Georgian Bar Association on October 17–18.

In addition, within the framework of cooperation with CLDP, the Georgian Bar Association is launching a specialized professional course in “Intellectual Property Law.”

The course group has already been formed, bringing together Georgian and international participants, and the training will commence shortly. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of qualification issued by Cornell University.

In connection with the ongoing projects and opportunities for further strengthening cooperation, Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association Irakli Kandashvili held a working meeting with representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP).

“It is particularly important for us to further strengthen cooperation with our international partners in various areas, including continuing professional education and the professional development of lawyers. It is important for us to offer lawyers educational programs that contribute to their professional growth and bring them even closer to international standards. The programs implemented and planned within the framework of our cooperation with CLDP serve precisely this purpose, and I am pleased that we are renewing our work in this direction together with our partners,” said Irakli Kandashvili.
